Asking for the sale can be a challenging part of the close for any sales person, small business owner or entrepreneur.  In fact If done correctly asking for the sale becomes the the first step in many ways to increase sales.  Today we are going to cover exactly how to ask for the sale from the inside out.

Your follow up marketing might be great.  Your Unique Selling Proposition might be excellent.  You might even be a master at collecting leads at business networking groups.

If you can’t just look you prospect in the eye and congruently and confidently ask for the sale its really going to be a lot harder to reach your business goals than it has to be.

You might guess that, the easier it is for us to ask for a sale, the easier it is for our prospects to say yes.  And the easier you can make it for your prospect to say yes the easier it is to increase business profit and create referrals from the social proof of satisfied customers.

The reason being able to ask for referrals without any emotional undertow is so important is because when you feel tense around asking your customer to buy, your prospect picks that up unconsciously and translates it as buying from you = bad or tense.

Or, your prospect sees you as trying to do something bad because if what you were doing was good you wouldn’t be giving off the characteristics of someone who was in a bad situation.

The flip side to this coin is that when you are 100% congruent, your prospect unconsciously believes in you more as well as your product and service.

The fastest way to become 100% congruent when asking your customers to buy from you is to visualize yourself feeling confident and feeling sure when asking them. Then, watching your prospect gladly buy from you and then see them down the road feeling happy about what they have purchased from you.

Just because this process sounds easy doesn’t mean it can’t significantly change the results that you are getting right now.

Taking 10 minutes in the morning and 10 minutes in the evening to do this has changed the closing ratio of hundreds of other sales people and entrepreneurs just like you.

And if you have any other feelings that take place inside you besides peace or excitement when asking for a sale, you will most surely increase your sales ratio simply by doing this visualization exercise for 30 days straight.
