Christmas Marketing Tip that builds relationships, leads & referrals

Of course there are always a couple of small business marketing ideas to consider each month as you think about the best ways to grow your business.

1. How you’re going to capture the information of your most ideal prospects and customers.

2. How you’re going to manage to build the kind of relationship with them that Prospect or Customer so they pay attention to your marketing communications.

3. How you’re going to get them to trust in you enough to refer you to their friends.

With the business goal being, of course, to get your ideal customer to buy larger amounts with more frequency.  Now in this video we cover a simple little marketing tip that did all of that; for the two completely different kinds of retail stores that have two completely different kinds of customers.

Christmas Marketing Tip that Builds Relationships, Leads & referrals Video Description

At the time this video was made, only one business used this strategy.  But now we have applied it to two completely different companies that are completely un-related.  I thought about asking for permission to share more details about our members experience, but I have noticed that sometimes if we have too much information that outlines  the differences in a business that became successful using a particular marketing strategy…it can be easy to think, “well it would work for me because I am different.”

So all I am going to tell you is that:

One of these businesses are using this strategy successfully with everyone that walks into their retail store by connecting with everyone that is shopping around in their store for this special service.

The other is using this strategy to gather the information of the people that confirmed themselves as customers by making the request for information part of the check out process.

Both of these retail stores increased customer purchases as well as generated referrals from their prospects’ friends and family.

The key here is to use this idea as a catelyst for your creativity and ask yourself:  Is there any way I can get a little bit outside my box to get my customers to believe in me enough to buy more, buy more often and refer their friends and family to me?
