Small Businesss Marketing Blog Video Transcription

I was hoping to give you this small business marketing blog video, to add a little value to your life and small business Marketing.

So if you’re considering to use the Model Of Free to generate more leads and more profit for your business, there’s a few areas you can think from:

One would be, “Are you looking to sell products specifically?” If you are looking to sell products then there’s one question you can ask yourself to really get on the right track as far as figuring out what Model Of Free is going to create the best return for you and your business. Ask yourself,

“What product do I sell in your small or medium sized business that’s complimentary to my main product, or my highest, most profitable product? That has a high perceived value, but a low cost to me?

That I can go ahead and put forth in my small or medium sized business marketing so that way everyone knows that I’m giving it away for free? And at that point, that itself will bring in new customers?”

Now there’s basically two types of people, prospects or customers that are going to be coming in and take that opportunity with your give away marketing.

Those are the people that either are thinking of buying that specific product that your business provides, and your give away marketing strategy…. just pushes them over the edge as far as making the decision to come and buy from you.

The other kind of prospect or new customer, is the person that might have bought that product from your competitor, or bought that product from your business in the past

And a lot times, as business owners, we become kind of concerned with..if that prospect  is going to come in and take advantage of our free offer…in way that has a long term negative effect on our business.

If that’s the case, don’t worry about it because if you’ve set up the right follow up marketing system to go ahead and collect their information and establish a relationship with them when they walk through the door, depending upon the life cycle of that product, or the add-ons, or the extras that you can provide along with that product will be a determination of if you’re able to sell to them again, and how soon be able to sell to them, and how quickly you’ll be able to take advantage of the fact that they came into your store and they took your free give away marketing offer. So that’s from a product selling standpoint.

If your main focus with give away marketing strategy is to sell services, what you’ll want to think about is what information, what kind of give away consultation, what kind of give away diagnostic exam can you give to the person who’s thinking about buying or the prospect that wants to buy but wants to be educated about the process that they are going through before they buy.

That works the best for higher priced services, and even products. So you can take either the product model they give you, or the service model, and you can actually overlay them on top of each other depending upon your price of your offer and a few other characteristics that we won’t get into right now.

Ok, a little bit more advanced idea to consider, that you might want to meditate on, when it comes to using the Model Of Free to actually generate more profit in your business is in your experience with your customer, what can you provide to them emotionally that is more value than your actual product or your service?

Now, if you’re able to figure what that is for your specific business, what you’re going to do even if you’re in a commodity based business, you’re going to be able to stand apart and separate yourself from all of your competitors. So I advise that you definitely take the time to do that.

Other than that, I hope you got lots of value out of this profitable marketing blog video, and if we haven’t had a chance to connect with me during an event when I am doing the small business speaker part of what I do…. just reach out on twitter, facebook or linkedin, I hope we do someday and I hope you have a great day.
